With Las Compuertas Project, Pablo and Hector Durigutti aim to support the local growers who proudly maintain this historic w**emaking region's vineyards and traditional practices. Pablo and Hector call Las Compuertas home, living and raising their families here. The Compuertas Project is their way of giving back to the region. As Pablo explains, "We set out to become a part of Las Compuertas ... We feel a strong commitment to reclaiming the traditions of this historic w**e-making area and becoming the interpreters of this unique terroir." Hector and Pablo Durigutti are the w**emakers behind the MIO w**es. The grapes in the Durigutti brothers' w**es are organically grown and hand-harvested. Fermentation occurs with native yeasts, no w**emaking additives are used, and the w**es are not fined or filtered. Sulfite levels are only 25-30 mg / L. The w**es showcase generous New World fruit with Old World elegance. This delicate balance is a trademark of the Durigutti brothers, two of the most well-known young w**emakers in Argentina right now.

The Leperchois family built the w**ery in Roquemaure in 1974, converted the estate to organic in 1997, and to biodynamic practices in 2009. De Muller Vermouths have been made using the same recipe since 1850! Over 150 botanicals are used, many of which are native to the w**ery’s Mediterranean setting in Reus, near the coast of the Mediterranean Sea in Catalonia. Reus is considered the epicenter of Spanish vermouth and De Muller is historically regarded as one of the top producers in the area. While delicious in a mixed drink, De Muller vermouths are traditionally enjoyed neat, on ice or with soda. Cheers!
