What a difference 6 weeks makes in the life of a baby duck! These 4 have grown to their full size now. They will be on display during October when our Pumpkin Patch is open for visitors. Until then, they are our best defense against snails and slugs. Besides being cute.

Memorial Day 2026– another year, and we will again be honoring our ancestors. This has been a long tradition in our family. It used to be called Decoration Day, for remembering those lost during the Civil War…Alonzo Case was 19 when he survived Gettysburg. He would live on to marry, go to Oregon Territory, and eventually move his large family to Whidbey Island where he bought this farm. 7 generations have since enjoyed this land. Some of us still work it. Still plant seeds, harvest crops, cut the grass. We honor all who have gone before us with flowers on this day. Not only those who served in the military, but the many others who loved them. All are remembered with gratitude.
