Spent another beautiful afternoon by the pond yesterday. The family at large gathering to share food and memories of good times we’ve had. Made some new memories. The kids fished, the older folks talked and watched. Lots of friends. Lots of hugs. Thanks Charles Jaeger for bringing us all together one more time.

Here’s our offering at the Thursday Market in OH tonight. Forgot to list the plums in our last post, but they are tree ripened, soft and sweet. Super juicy. From the oldest orchard on the farm. Planted over a hundred years ago. If you’ve never eaten fresh picked plums, don’t miss out. These beauties don’t last long. Much better that store bought. We’re at Market by the Chamber building until 7pm. Also going to the Coupeville Market on Saturday. See ya soon!

Here’s something we haven’t seen often this season—a puddle! There was enough rain over night to leave a standing puddle in the road by the house. May not seem like much to you, but it does mean we got enough rainfall for this week. No need to irrigate. That frees up time for other tasks. That’s a good thing. We’re thankful.
