The drought has been bad this year. Like most people we’ve been feeding hay through the summer to make sure the animals are fed and doing well! Thankfully we’ve been working with a neighbor to get another lease to keep the steers. Now the boys have 35 acres to themselves! They should be set for a while enjoying some fresh grass 😃

After shadowing a beekeeper for 2 years we decided to bring bees to the ranch! We started with 2 “nucs” which are basically a starter colony with a queen and thousands of bees🐝
