Well, WOW! We found out this morning that our 2024 Division Gamay “Gala” from Jubilee Vineyard is the #1 wine of 2025 ... a Holy $hit moment as they say!
What an honor for Oregon, the Willamette Valley, for Gamay, and of course for us - it’s still sinking in (at least for us - Gamay already knows it’s great 😉)
We just wrapped up our 16th vintage at Division and are fortunate enough to reflect back on some great wines made over the years (and maybe a few just ok ones too 🤣)- and also a track record of nice accolades and wonderful feedback from our most important critics: our amazing customers and supporters.
This is the first time we can remember Division getting an “official” blue ribbon though, and to be honest, it feels pretty great. Not because we have ever felt overlooked, but because we know in our hearts that our wines have this potential, and to be recognized by one’s peers is a wonderful reminder that all our efforts, and the incredible efforts (huge merci!) of everyone that makes our wines possible from vineyard to glass, are as worth it as we believe.
And this Holy $hit wine moment is brought to us by nothing other than Gamay, THE grape variety we have fought hard for since the beginning of our careers in Oregon and the Willamette Valley. It is extra special to see our focus and favorite grape get the spotlight. Go Gamay Go!
And just look at the awesome group of wineries featured on this list. It’s basically a who’s who of many of our favorite wineries all over the world (and from right here in OR - yay home team!) We are so proud to be featured alongside them all - and if you haven’t already, grab a glass and seek out ANY of these bottles to fill it with - you’ll be thrilled, we promise.
So, a big cheers to all of us, cheers to sharing delicious bottles, and cheers & thank you to for their dedication to wine and for all the love❣️
