My very best adorable reasons I won't be doing dna testing on any sort of large scale or offering to the general public. I actually enjoy doing small batches without deadlines. Basically my own or a few farm friends. It was definitely a lot easier without an infant and honestly it is a lot of work and very time consuming. I'm going to spend my time snuggling baby and many other things. There's lots of good dna testers out there. 100ish g active starter
325 g water
500 g bread flour
12 g salt

I think this is basically Bim’s Sourdough Bread ingredient list. I think I got it off the Sourdough Geeks page.

Mix to incorporate everything
Then mix aggressively to build gluten bonds
Stretch and fold every idk 15ish min but honestly I just go back to it when I can get to it.
Its bulk fermenting in my fridge atm. Ill bake it tomorrow.
I'm not a great sourdough baker btw but my family eats it up so thats what really matters😄

I have no availability for goslings, goose eggs, or adult geese. I also have no chicken hatching eggs or chicks until spring 2027.
This is not a wait list. I only intended to see who may be interested. I'm sorry if anyone thought it was. I've done a wait list in the past and it didn't work out.

This post made it out to quite a few people and many have contacted me about availability for goslings, adults, and hatching eggs. I've come to realize that a lot of people don't realize that the goose lay season is over. It will start again Late Feb to early March and end early June ish up here in N. Idaho.

My npip is coming up and I'm debating on whether or not to continue. I don't have a ton to offer so I wanted to gauge interest locally or for shipped eggs in what I will have next spring.

Sebastopol Geese: I have a lot of colored geese.

Grays, blues, buffs, Splash.

Eggs $35 to $45 each depending on color pen
Goslings: price to be determined.

Black Copper Marans and bbs copper Marans
Chocolate/chocolate Ermine Ameraucanas
Chicken hatching egg prices tbd

Mostly boy chicks but at least I finally know my last two goslings are girls! 🥳 thank goodness because I sure have been boy heavy! Thought I'd label them, I waited a bit too long to take a pict so it's a little blurry.

Wow! I wasn't sure if all the work was worth it digging up last fall and replanting my dahlia tubers, but I am really liking this purple/white pretty bloom! There's 4 more that haven't bloomed. Hopefully i get to see them before the deer find them😳

Science Friday!🥳🥳🥳 gonna try to resurrect my sourdough starter and test a few chicks for gender, blue egg and recessive white😄. If my 7 kids cooperate today, I might get it done🤪

Well, you blink and your grow outs are grown! 😍 So many colors! They make me smile! Black Copper Marans, Blue Copper Marans, Wheaten Marans, BBS Langshans, Chocolate and Ermine Ameraucanas! 😍 I THINK that's too many chicken pens to care for along with 4 to 6 goose pens in the spring. If you had to axe one chicken breed out of the 4 I have, which would you let go of? 🤔 I'm thinking Langshans but I'm a sucker for their bloomy eggs!
