Bulk of the major bamboo is cleared and sprayed. Amazingly enough we now get a breeze out of the north which will help dry the property. We couldnt of done this without help that is for sure so we greatly appreciate everyone who helped.

This cat.. I look up from putting air in my tires to see her passed out in the driveway. 😆 in the afternoon at 4pm till the sun goes down you can find Miss Astrid in the driveway somewhere passed out. 💤😴 Such a hard life out prowling all day 😎

For the love of God people dont have bamboo and leave it for someone else's headache. This stuff is incredibly invasive and holds a water table high on a property.
This patch was approx by people who deal with it to be around 30 years old min to get like this.

150' out from the creek and 400' east to west.
Approx 80' tall stalks anywhere from 2'"to 3" in diameter. Largest so far was 3.5"
We are using chainsaws to take this down to be able to spray. Nothing else will touch it.

We can't thank everyone enough who has come to help us with this.

Weekend one down of the bamboo cutting party. Anywhere from thin to baseball bat width stalks. A lot of work was done but still alot to go. If anyone wants some bamboo we cut down let us know!

Bamboo cutting party going down this weekend. Time to tackle the 30yr old bamboo jungle no one prior wanted to deal with that is now causing drainage issues to the property 🙄

We knew we had a pear tree 🍐 but had no idea that it would produce. I always thought you needed two (male/female) to get fruit to produce. Nice surprise. 😎

This cat 🙄 Astrid figured laying in the driveway isn't working to get treats early, so she decided to plop herself on the steps so I couldnt open the door or get around her. Well she won this time 😆
