We are proud to announce the arrival of a remarkable bull calf this evening! Holbrook Hill Janis Joplin has given birth to this beautiful calf, sired by our own bull, OPF Motive, PineView Greyson x OPF Supernova). Although Motive has relocated to serve his own herd of Belties at The Plymouth County Sheriff's Department, we take immense pride in showcasing this special bull calf. 🖤🤍🖤

What a way to kick of the first show of the season at the Fryeburg Youth Show! We are so proud of our show string and youth! Thank you to the Fryeburg Youth Show for always giving our youth this exceptional opportunity!

🤍OPF Ember- 1st in Spring Yearling Mismark/Percentage pulling a Reserve Champion in her division. 🤎🤍🤎

🖤Barrett Homestead Melody- 2nd in a highly competitive Belted Galloway Senior Yearling class.

🤍Barrett Homestead Mary-1st in her Senior Yearling Mismarked class, making it to the final drive in her division, Reserve Champion Belted Galloway Jackpot Heifer, Reserve Champion non-owned showmanship.

🖤Harmony Meadows Denali- 1st place in his lightweight class and Reserve Champion Lightweight Steer in a highly competitive division!

February was a busy month for OPF! February 4th & 5th we welcomed 2 calves out of Addy and Joni by Atwood Farm Cooper and Pineview Edelman, respectively . Both calves born healthy and strong!
We also welcomed a red heifer calf from Maine, whom we have been anxiously waiting for a long time: Atwood Farm Phoebe. She will add color and superb genetics to our herd. Thank you to Kerry Atwood for introducing us to Cooper and his beautiful herd.
This has been a difficult month with record snow on the farm. We lost one of our 10-stall buildings due to the heavy snow. There is always something to repair on an old farm!

This afternoon, four days after her due date, Ladybug gave birth to an adorable heifer calf by Atwood Farm Cooper! Both mama and baby are doing great. Ladybug is just the sweetest and proudest mama💗

We are so excited to welcome two new heifers to OPF! Barrett Homestead Melody and Barrett Homestead Mary will make wonderful additions to our herd. Watch for them this summer!

We welcomed this cute heifer calf yesterday morning! She is our 3rd generation calf out of OPF Estrella Faye by Pine View Greyson. She is brave and independent! We are calling her Ember💗 She is enjoying the day in the pasture with her mom (Faye), grandma (Nova), and great grandmother (Addie).
