I got back to a bunch of messages today.

I decided to keep my chickens cause I just enjoy them too much. While I hate winter, I love them more ❤️

However, I have a TON of rabbits! Hollands, Mini Rexes, Rex Mixes, Lionhead Mixes, Neatherland Dwarf and a New Zealand. Open to literally any and all offers!

I got a brand new quail cage built this week so prepare to see some sorted birds and maybe even some project pens. I’m downsizing on certain areas so I can pour into others that I love.

I am trying my best to message and coordinate with everyone! I still need to get photos and clean things up beforehand.

Here’s what I dealt with today. Proceeded to have a major anxiety attack and had to drive around for an hour to get back to normal.

Is there anything else I can deal with right now!? Like just add it to the list. At this point, it’s getting ridiculous.

Sitting down at 2am eating bread, first thing I’ve eaten all day. I’m at the point where I want to fall asleep and wake up and it’s all taken care of.

Hey everyone! Long time no see

Just wanted to update everyone on my life.

So 2 weeks ago, our household lost their primary source of income. No big deal, I can make my own money.

And then I broke my foot. Okay so there goes my option for earning income. No big deal, I still have my family.

Well then my (now ex) partner decides to choose substances over us and our home. So now we are officially separated! 🙃

I don’t share this to trauma dump or for pity and sympathy points. I don’t even say this as an excuse for my recent absence. I say all this to say that YOU deserve so much more and if things aren’t serving you how they should, it’s better to leave today than to wait for a brighter tomorrow.

Anyone who has met me in person knows I’m the baddest bitch to walk this earth. I always start and finish on top. Give me a few days to work out a new routine and you’re about to see the brightest version of me yet. ❤️

After a 2 week hiatus I’m back on my game

We have 2 week old quail chicks! A huge variety of colors from jumbo blacks to fees to progressive pieds and more!

5 a piece or 6/25 - will also do bulk deal/ same day pickup deal

These babies are transitioning off heat, perfect time for those that want eggs on their holiday menus!

I am the ear worm of my friends on this subject

AI is gross and will never be apart of this homestead.

We’ve all used it at some point but the level that people go to with it is insane. I was literally blocked by someone who said I was rude cause I didn’t like “their” AI design (you still follow me here tho so what’s good? 🤣)

I was griping about wanting more celadons so my new friend Chris Lamb hooked me up 💯

I was gifted a 30 count of celadon eggs and I forgot what the other 10 are 😂 Chris has some really pretty birds, he’s a fun guy and I cannot WAIT to hatch these! Big thankyou for these much needed additions to my quail army 💪

Taken 5 minutes after I woke up but couldn’t stop laughing 🤣

I’m working on a new routine since I’m on the road again so please bear with me on the message front ❤️ I’m bad at responding when things are slow, I’m a lost cause when I’m busy

Today is the last day of the antibiotics and the quail are looking great. I ended up culling 2 that weren’t looking better but the rest of quarantine and the main flock all look great. If they stay good, I’ll take the opportunity and reintegrate them and the breeding programs for winter housing in October.

The weather is getting cooler and I’m not ready. I am still tired from last winter so let’s all hold hands and chant to the weather gods for a mild winter. ❄️ My back can only take so much 😫

Also the plant is dead but also not so be nice 😂
