Farmer's Market season is upon us and I love it!!

I took a few soaps with me today to the market at the mall in BG and got to do some bartering! First time asking but figured it didn't hurt to ask and both times were accepted!

Locally made soft pretzels, sourdough bagels, cold pressed juice, locally grown lion's head and pink oyster mushrooms, and some "crack" seasoned pretzels.

Excited to see what's there next week and the live music was great!!

Any other local markets we should check out? Do you vend or visit any near you?

One of our barn cats is a tad ditz... she was constantly moving her kittens into the chicken coop... which gets locked up at night so that got vetoed by me. Sooooo... she decided to enroll them in daycare with Nez and thankfully Nez decided to be chill about it. I think Daphne might need to pay Nez some child support.

It might be grey outside and spitting a snow/sleet mix but I am inside making plans!

Started our pepper seeds today!

The goal is to start all of our plants from seeds and not buy starts this year... fingers crossed, we have started some plants inside in the past, but this year there are GOALS! lol

Anyone else getting the itch to play in the dirt??

He's back!! Must have been off visiting family for the holidays. At least 2 of the Tuxie Crew were there to greet him!

Mr. FW hadn't abandoned us completely... trail cam caught him last night. Been a while since his last know visit. As long as he keeps his tail to himself he can stick around.

We think Mr. FW might be an ❌️ichigan fan... he didn't show up today at all... the Tuxie and Fluffy crews were rooting scarlet and grey today until this white stuff started falling and they curled up in the barns until chore time.

No Mr. FW again tonight. The tuxie and fluffy crew were out searching! Batman had help from Joker, Syd, and Dezi tonight. On a plus note... evening chores went quickly since we didn't have to evict Mr. FW from the buck barn.

How did we get here? lol I have been getting questions asking how he is... getting tagged in skunk vids... I am just a GenX farm "kid" that understands FAFO and takes video from a distance... 5x zoom or so lol.

Anyways, enjoy Mr.Fw interviewing new friends... introducing Peen and Syd since Batman was camera shy tonight.

No skunk visit tonight during chores but enjoy Batman interacting with her nemesis, Mr. FW. BTW I would love to know why this dude only shows up when I am doing chores alone!!
