Update on peak fall colors for Indiana 🍁👀
Very warm air for the next 2 weeks will likely delay peak foliage across Indiana.

Northern Indiana: Oct 25-31
Central Indiana: Nov 1-5
Southern Indiana: Nov 6-10

What you see in your exact location could vary by a few days.

There will likely be some cold fronts in early-mid October, but we are not sure on their intensity yet. We need chilly nights to help accelerate fall colors. A few more doses of rain would help with the color vibrancy.

We we are not able to cool down much, more delays to the color forecast may be needed.

This bee (Common Eastern Bumblebee) was hanging out in our pumpkin patch early in the morning. Occasionally, bees will fall asleep in the pumpkin flowers as they close in the evening and come out as the flower opens up again in the morning. Bumblebees are one of the most important pollinators for pumpkins and you can see this bee has been busy moving pollen.
