Join the Vikings of Solvang for a “Sea of Red” Rally!

The Vikings of Solvang invite the Santa Ynez Valley community to gather at Solvang Park this Saturday, July 11, at 12:00 p.m. to rally behind the Norwegian Soccer Team and cheer them on to victory!

Members of the Vikings and their ship’s crew will take part in a traditional “rowing” demonstration, synchronized to the beat of a live drum. With media expected to be in attendance, including KEYT and international Norwegian news channels, this is a special opportunity to show the world Solvang’s support.

Wear your red jersey or shirt and help create a massive “Sea of Red” celebration! Traditional Viking apparel is also highly encouraged.

Come be part of the energy, support the team, and show the world how Solvang celebrates!

Skål! Kim Jensen - Chief of the Vikings of Solvang, 2026
