1. Happy summer (officially)!! 🌞
2. Tomorrow!! I will be at the Sparta Specialty Craft/Art Market (since there is no farmers market this week) from 5pm-8pm at the new town square. Celebrate summer’s arrival by grabbing a dreamy wrapped bouquet, mason jar vase, or bud vase 🥰
3. If you can’t make it tomorrow, the Stand will be open Thursday through Sunday 11am - 8pm at 12665 Phelps Ave NW!
4. ALL flowers are 100% locally grown & fresh cut 💗(Katie & Manuel - MI Cut Flowers grew the peonies since mine froze, and Mystic Acres grew some of the yarrow since mine are still babies in their first year!)

Happy Father’s Day to all the fatherly figures, but especially to my Dad. He is a 4th generation farmer that’s had to pivot, evolve, and make a lot of tough decisions in order to keep farming (farmers are so resilient). He’s the hardest worker, loves to crack a joke, and is always on the chase for a good time and some rock n’ roll. The first photo is probably one of my favorites photos ever, especially because it’s on 35mm film. It truly captures the simple moment and joy at the end of day when you’re finishing up chores with your best friend— the dog. That dog, Dexter, never listened to anyone but my dad. And even then it was a 50/50 chance!!

Happy Father’s Day!! Stop by the stand to say thank you with some sweet treats like honey, syrup, or some beautiful flowers to add to today’s celebrations 🥰

Flowers so good & magical, even the bees can’t resist! 🐝 This is also the LAST week of peonies, so soak up their fragrance and beauty before they are gone until next year!!

Due to predicated storms this evening, I will not be attending the Sparta Farm Market tonight (I don’t want the flowers getting blown away or rained on!) 😢 BUT!! The stand will be open this afternoon (6/17), all through the weekend (Thu- Sun)! And if you even need a local delivery, I’m your girl 😊

This week’s funky find! Wild onion going to seed. I love the swirls and twirls and texture! I’m also trying to embrace Katie & Manuel - MI Cut Flowers’s wisdom of making a bouquet for yourself to enjoy. Thank you for a great first ever farmer’s market this past Wednesday at the Sparta Farmer’s Market! I loved seeing everyone, and hearing people’s stories and questions about all things flowers (and beyond). I plan on being there as much as I can!

If you missed it, don’t fret, because the stand is open all weekend long! 11am-8pm Thu - Sun 12665 Phelps Ave NW. Come grab some beautiful peonies while they last!!

Last night I did some flowers for a dear friend and their garden party for their 11 year wedding anniversary. I was obsessed with how the vision came together 😍. And luckily the rain came later in the evening! Thank you Elizabeth & Ethan for trusting me with such a special day

Y’all!! Come on down to the Sparta Farmers Market tomorrow (June 10th) from 4pm-8pm at the civic center to grab yourself (or anyone who deserves some flowers) some of these beautiful bouquets!! It’s honestly been so hard not keeping them all for myself. I will also some cute mini bud vases, which I always find myself sticking in all kinds of nooks and crannies. Happy Monday! This weekend was hot & sunny, but I loved every minute of it.

And I have an announcement, y’all. I will be at the Sparta Farmers Market this Wednesday! Which also happens to be my birthday 🥰 I will be there with some gorgeous peonies & mixed bouquets. Peonies are my favorite because they always bloom around my birthday, letting me know summer and warmth are near. Some near & dear loved ones planted peonies long ago, so watching them bloom every June feels like a never-ending gift from them.

So stop by, say hi, and I would love to hear any and all advice y’all have for turning 26!

Happy June!! I love June. It’s probably my favorite month (even though I love all the seasons equally). It’s planting season, the weather gets warmer (most of the time), and summer truly begins. Everyday I find another nook and cranny of the farm that makes me stop and stare…and then take a photo. I found the perfect hammock spot, but now I just need a hammock!
