UPDATE ON THE CURRENT storm clean-up SITUATION

Since there has been a weather shift we will start with a couple rounds of resumed cleaning. Looks like we will have SOME DAYs of weather cooperating.

Thanks in advance too ALL OF YOU WONDERFUL VINE PAIRINGS PEEPS who have, are, and are going to help!
We APPRECIATE EACH OF YOU more than words can say!

Tuesday TOMORROW we could use some help.
We will start at 10 and the chores will involve
Cleaning:
-bathrooms again
'Floors behind the bar and storeroom again
-Sinks
-Ice machine
- Ice bin
-a little glassware
-wine bottles
-beers and sodas

The main thing to bring would be gloves for yourself that can get submerged in water.

(WEATHER PERMITTING)
SATURDAY AND maybe if needed SUNDAY afternoon we will need HELP.
We will start at 0900 and the chores include:
-Moving everything on the floors outside
-power wash main floors and part of walls again
-mop main floors
-apply a finish if possible
-move everything back inside and partially set tables and chairs in place as space allows
-continue work on cleaning bottles etc.

Main thing to bring would be boots, and gloves that can get wet.

Update on our progress toward reopening.

Thanks to all our awesome peeps who have provided so much help!!! Vine Pairings has the BEST friends and BEST customers! We are blessed!

So many more of you have offered to help and we will be ready to take you up on that offer Tuesday or Wednesday of next week. We would love help with moving furniture and cleaning/sanitization equipment, bottles, glassware. Sunday's forecast looks sketchy.
So we wait to see if we will flood again.

We are moving forward.
We had mostly cleaned floors after the second flooding but have had trouble finding a dry day and half to move everything outside in krdee to finish the floors. Which needs to be done BEFORE we can correctly clean and sanitize dishes, bottles etc.

Chef Austin's grill has been rescued from the creek.
We got mostly good news concerning appliances.

The boys are planning and rebuilding the deck/bandstand. Windows are in progress of replacement.

Part of the insurance estimate for the Food Truck is completed, but they have more to go. So we wait...

We will reach out again and request help as we get closer to Tuesday/Wednesday. Thank you in advance!

Hi all. Update concerning progress post storm of 6/8.
Insurance denied all building damage.......
A LOT OF WONDERFUL PEOPLE have been showing up to help and progress has definitely been made.
Thanks for all the help, expertise and loaned equipment.Mike, Lee, Cliff, Tom, Eddie, Stuart, Gary, Sandy, Kaylee,Jamie, Shelly, Thomas, Ashley and all the other offers for future help, as well as your prayers and positive thoughts!!!!
I'll say it again...we have THE BEST PEEPS.

We did however get hit again with yesterday's storm. More muddy water inside. This time only about 3 inches. Floor, wallS and furniture cleanup needs to be redone.
Chef Austin's outdoor grill blew into the Creek Yesterday. Which was our only remaining potential cooking equipment. Wow

The Food Truck is still at the 1st shop for assessment. Apparently there is not a one stop shop for Food Trucks. We still need to locate a place to assess the inside damage. PLEASE LET US KNOW IF ANYONE HAS ANY IDEAS. Thus far the closest we have found is 3 1/2 hrs away in Kansas.

The refrigeration technicians are due to assess the reach-in, Beer and Wine coolers and ice machine today or tomorrow. All had flood water inside. The air-conditioning and H-vac assessment is tomorrow.

The Deck is under renovation and becoming a handstand. Rock has been brought back up to the yard from the Creek. Huge thanks to Cliff and Tom.

The City came by and removed the huge tree that blew from across the Creek after it was cut from the Food Truck.

About 1/3 of our outdoor tables and chairs have been dug out of the Creek and from under the bridge. Some are salvageable!

ALL of the remaining glassware, dishes, cookware, bar equipment, bottles, cans etc will need to be cleaned and sanitized. If the refrigeration appliances are salvaged they will cleaned and sanitized. We should be ready for this step by early next week.

The POS system and internet still need addressed.

We are sad to report that Vine Pairings was taken out of commission by Monday morning's storm. Outside and inside the building, as well as the Food Truck are all inoperable. So....we will be closed until clean up and restoration can occur. Please be patient with us and when we can serve again, plan to come show us some LOVE.
