If you see an “abandoned” fawn, keep as much distance as possible and don’t touch it! These babies are usually not truly “abandoned,” the momma deer is around hunting somewhere so you don’t want to spook her or the little one with your scent. If you do think the deer is injured, like there’s a lot of visible blood or the animal seems to be in distress, still don’t touch it but do call the Michigan DNR or your local sheriff’s office. 🦌

Farm Camp begins 2 weeks from today! Don't forget to get your campers registered.

Slowly, but surely, the indoor classroom is coming together. Most of our time is spent outdoors, but it's nice to have a space to escape in case of heavy rains. That's not to say there hasn't been any drenched, muddy, happy rainy day campers in the past. 😎
