It’s Memorial Day weekend, is it time yet? With the crazy weather it’s hard to know, but these beauties need to be in the ground! I had to pot a few up for my mother in law, the snow bird should be back this weekend and we can plant her garden next weekend. We’ve got plenty of 1 gallons (Mountain Fresh is a favorite for patios and the garden, excellent slicer that only gets about 3-4’ tall), 3” pots of extremely healthy sungolds and various other varieties, 3” pots of peppers, eggplants, herbs, squash, husk cherry, tomatillo etc, and 4” pots of lantana, bacopa, torenia, moonvine, licorice etc. It’s time to ! ♥️

It’s official, the greenhouse at the stand is open for the season! More plants will be added over the next week, but we had to make more room in the back greenhouses!

Anyone else love p***ywillows? Anyone know how to propagate? So easy. Grab a bunch of fresh ones this week at the farm stand, cut off the bottoms and put them in water, a couple weeks later they’ll have a root system growing! This is a French variety, very open plant, easy to maintain if you cut them back every spring. I’ve got some potted up in 3” pots, and I’ll be starting another batch when these ones have roots developing (for my house, but if there’s interest we could start some for sale at the stand). They really don’t need grow lights, just a sunny windowsill. And you can plant them in mid to late April!

It is with great sadness that we share the news of the passing of our beloved mother/wife/grandmother/friend. She was a force to be reckoned with, a confidant, a spirit like no other. She will be greatly missed. We love you mom ❤️💔❤️

I know, I said I was done painting. But, it was a custom order I couldn’t refuse. I really love this one, the purple is extra heavy with copper so it shines in the sun. Glad I made a couple extra blanks so I can do one for myself! Dropping off a few pieces at tomorrow morning for you last minute shoppers, I’ll try not to eat all the muffins while I’m there!

So, this hobby of making has taken on a life of its own. After pretty much selling out of the first batch, I’ve got a fresh new batch of hummingbirds, new bluebirds and cardinals, a few of the knot patterns, and if I have time, something very new that those who love will really enjoy! Feel free to DM for sizes available and prices, or to reserve one. I’ll be down this weekend for the Makers Market on Sunday if you want to see them in person or just come hang out with me and a bunch of other cool artists!
Flote has been a wonderful experience for me over the years, grab a gift card for the people in your life that need help learning to relax!

I hope everyone is getting their fair share of pie today, Happy Thanksgiving!
