Sani e Felici Farm We are a MOFGA certified Organic Farm in Union, Maine. We grow a variety of heirloom and organic vegetables, fruits, and flowers.

Visit our Farm Stand or call ahead for special orders. We also deliver to three area Food Pantries.

It is with gratitude to the land and soil for the veggies, fruits and flowers that we say goodbye to Sani e Felici (Healthy & Happy) Farm. Our farming community deserves special thanks for the mentoring and friendship over the last 10 years. You are truly appreciated.
We are off to new adventures. It has been said that change is inevitable. We embrace the change and transition. Our plan is to spend more time walking in the woods rather than cutting wood. Biking the carriage roads of Acadia NP, traveling, enjoying our health and transitioning to human beings in contrast to human doings are on our agenda.
Thank you to all the folks that stopped by our Farm Stand. We enjoyed meeting you. We will miss the bounty, the sun rises and sunsets and the trees. We are off to new adventures!

Dear neighbors/customers,

It has been an odd growing season with a more limited harvest. Due to this, we have decided to concentrate our efforts on delivering organic produce to food pantries. We have not opened the farm stand but may if the fall squash crop is plentiful. Fans of our silver slicer cucumbers and other produce, PM us if you want to place an order. Contact us with any questions.

The cool wet weather has made for a great Asparagus crop. We harvested about 20% more than last year and it could have been more. We had our last picking yesterday and did a Food Pantry delivery. Not so terrific for strawberries. They like more sun than we have been getting. Hopefully, if we get some warmer weather, they will recover.

Our growing season is done. Wrapping things up, putting the land to bed for the winter. There is one last fun task, planting garlic. Everything else is clean up, composting, repair jobs, you know, the mundane stuff that will help make the next growing season successful. We are grateful this year that our new well provided irrigation for a bounty of cucumbers, beets, carrots and more. The final tally on Food Pantry deliveries was 1088 pounds of organic produce for our neighbors. Gratitude is the attitude.

We are very pleased to be part of the Good Shepherd Food Bank program "Mainers Feeding Mainers". GSFB recently wrote a "Thank You" for another successful Mainers Feeding Mainers program growing season. During 2021 GSFB received more than 2.2 million pounds of fresh, locally-grown Maine produce to share with our neighbors in need.

WOW...2.2 million pounds of produce. Our small operation contributed 1,500 pounds of that total. We had a very good Butternut Squash and Tomato year, an outstanding string bean and pepper year. Our cucumbers disappointed this year. Oh well, we will plant again in 2022. We have had a special request for more Acorn Squash for next season. We did some but not enough to satisfy the Food Pantry folks. Seeds have been ordered.
