Some barnyard snaps, and a little hose-soaked cutie who’s turning 2 in less than a week! 🥹

The cold hard facts about ducks: 1. They absolutely love mud. They do not care about aesthetics or smelling fresh, AT ALL. 2. They lay their eggs with reckless abandon, all over the dang place, even in muddy p**p corners. It’s like a really gross scavenger hunt every day! 3. No matter how familiar you are to them, or that you raised them from birth with calming music and warm blankets and gave them treats and tubbies…every single time you come near it’s like the first time they’ve seen you. You might as well be Bigfoot. They act scared to death and run straight for the coop. 🙄 All that aside, though…they are still so stinking cute. 😬

New birdhouses going out each week! Feel free to ask us to customize yours (hinged, rustic, traditional, etc.). Spring has sprung and the birds are everywhere! 🪺 (even trying to nest in our workshop where we store the birdhouses) 🙈 Also pictured: our beautiful roo and one of our newer ducklings. 🐓🪿
