Wow, we're extending our season by another weekend! I'd have to look back through the years to see, but I don't think we've ever had the weather and the trees hold out until almost the middle of November!
We're looking at another beautiful weekend of 70 degree weather, and we've got wonderfully sweet, ripe apples.
If you've wanted to come Apple picking this season, but haven't yet, this is weekend looks to be another great one, and it'll be our last one for the year. :(
Last weekend was great, minimal crowds, loads of parking available. Normally I'd recommend buying your parking reservation ahead of time, but this week- just come on down to Watsonville. $2 at the gate gets your whole carload of family and friends in!
We'll have limited supplies of juice and turnovers, so it'll be first come, first served (unless you pre-order online).

Beautiful weather returns this week, and we're still open for U-Pick!
As we head into the final couple weekends of our season, we're discounting entry to only $2 per carload of friends and family!
We've still got (literally!) tons of apples on the trees, and we'll have our usual baked goodies, sales on the best apple juice around, and since it's going to be pretty warm this weekend, we're restocking our new Apple Pie ice cream from Revival Ice Cream in Monterey.

What a fantastic fall season we've had so far! This weekend looks like it's going to be more great weather, with 70 degrees here in Watsonville.
We'll be having a sale on our raw, fresh-pressed apple juice: 20% off gallons and half gallons. 5 gallons gets another 10% off! We'll deep-freeze some as well, so if you've got a long drive home, we've got you covered. While supplies last, obviously.

Well, not everyone on the list is still around, and not everyone that's been around this year is on the list here, but thanks to everyone for an awesome 13th(!) year of U-pick art Clearview Orchards. From all of our family and friends in the barn, to everyone that comes out to spend an hour or two (or the better part of a day sometimes) picking apples and enjoying our orchard, thank you! We appreciate all of you.

November 2nd & 3rd will be our final weekend for the 2024 apple season. So starting the 2nd, we're in "Everything Must Go!" mode.
Family pass/parking will be $2!
Apples will be $2 per pound! Even the Evercrisp!
Apple Pops will be 2 for $2
We'll have special discounts for remaining pumpkins, for the procrastinators among us.
We'll have juice apples for $25/bushel (call for availability)!
And we'll have all the regular goodies; juice, turnovers, apple butter, honey and bread, all subject to availability.
If you haven't visited this year, we've added turnover pre-orders to the ticket page. We strongly suggest pre-ordering if you want to ensure you get some of our famous turnovers. They do sell out!

This weekend looks like the weather is going to be fantastic here again, maybe even better than last weekend!

We got some photo memories this morning of our humble beginnings!
In 2010, we weren't technically U-pick.
We were a fruit stand across the street from where the barn is now. We had apples and some other goodies, and it looks like over dozen bottles of honey available that day!
Our parking lot wasn't quite as big or organized as it is these days, and we didn't have quite as many beehives, either. ;)
People would ask if they could see the trees, so Mel would take them across the street. Then they'd want to pick their own off the trees, so we decided it would just be easier to set up on the other side.
The following year, we moved across the street and the rest is history!
We've been asked what we do with the apples that don't get picked, or aren't nice enough to sell at the stand. Well, back in the day, Oli would take some "ugly applse" home and sell them throughout the week. He can still be seen selling the more attractive apples behind our counter (and about a dozen other jobs at the orchard!)
