YY Ranch - David and Tina Thompson Cattle Ranch - Registered Black Angus and a Commercial Cow/Calf operation Cattle Ranch homesteaded by Brannick and Mary Riggs in 1879.

Home Ranch is the original Riggs Homestead site. Six generations later still operating as a cattle ranch. Barney Kemp Riggs first acquired the C Bar Brand in the early 1900's and was a part of the Chiricahua Cattle Company that operated in the Sulpher Springs Valley in Cochise County. C Bar Ranch landholdings now support three different family ranching enterprises. YY Ranch (David and Tina Thompson), X5 Ranch (Cory and Gabbe Thompson) and Sugarloaf Land and Cattle (Valerie Riggs). YY and X5 Ranches also raise Registered Black Angus for sale as high quality breeding stock.
