🎈🎈Update!! As expected from our amazing community, you all came running with books for our, YOUR, Little Free Library and she’s filled right up! We thank you so much! Please make it a point to stop down and grab or drop a read and maybe bring a little one and send them on a magical adventure with a book! Let the “take a book, leave a book” magic begin 📚💗

🌈🏡 Introducing Schneider’s of Kirkwood’s “NEW” Little Free Library! 🏡🌈
Have you ever opened a book and found yourself transported to a faraway land? 🏰🐉🌳 Sailed the seven seas? Solved a great mystery? Met a new friend? Or traveled to a place you never knew existed? 🌎✨
That’s the magic of books… and now we have a little place right here at Schneider’s of Kirkwood where that magic can be shared with our community! ❤️📖
Our adorable, colorful Little Free Library is sitting right on our front porch, just waiting for little hands, curious minds, big imaginations, and book lovers of all ages to stop by!
💕 BUT HERE’S THE THING… OUR LITTLE LIBRARY NEEDS A LITTLE LOVE! 💕
Right now, our shelves are nearly empty, with just a few children’s books that have already been donated. We would LOVE your help filling this little treasure chest with stories, adventures, laughter, learning, and imagination!

Please consider donating gently used books to help us fill our shelves! Children’s books, chapter books, novels, mysteries, cookbooks, classics, and all sorts of wonderful reads are welcome. Every book has a story to tell, and every donation gives someone the chance to discover a new favorite! ❤️
The idea is simple:

You never know whose day you might brighten, whose imagination you might spark, or what little reader might fall in love with books because of a story they found right here. And that, friends, is a pretty wonderful thing. 🥰

This little library is extra special because it has a story of its own!
The beautiful cabinet was generously donated by a gentleman in our community and once belonged to his grandmother, Miss Emily, who has long since passed away. We love that something so meaningful from her life can now become a place where new memories, adventures, and stories will be shared for years to come. ❤️
So, a heartfelt thank-you to our donor and to Miss Emily for giving this cabinet a new chapter in its life. We hope she would smile knowing that her family’s piece has become something special for our entire community. 🌷
A big thank-you also goes to everyone who helped bring this little dream to life!
🎨 The colorful paint was leftover from our wall mural.
🖌️ Our granddaughter, Myleanna, designed and decorated this beautiful creation!
🪟 Robbins Signs took care of the plexiglass and vinyl.
🔧 Mike Meeker secured the plexiglass and helped bring it all together.
To everyone who donated, designed, painted, built, secured, or helped in any way — THANK YOU! It takes a community to create something wonderful, and we are so grateful for every person who helped bring this little library to our porch. ❤️
