Our Gift Shop has a limited selection from a much-loved, discontinued Nicholas Mosse pottery range.

Handmade at the Nicholas Mosse pottery in Ireland, each piece features a timeless Christmas design and is crafted to be cherished for years to come.

These beautiful pieces offer a rare opportunity to add to an existing collection or begin a new one.

They can be mixed and matched with designs from the current Nicholas Mosse ranges, creating a distinctive table setting for Christmas and beyond.

With only a limited number available, we recommend visiting the Gift Shop early to view the collection.

If you’re starting to plan your Christmas cheeseboard, our friendly team will be on hand to offer advice and help you find the perfect selection.

Celebrate apple harvest season with us at Middle Farm, with apple-pressing demonstrations, tastings, homemade treats, Live music from The Unkempt, and plenty more!

Enjoy a taste of our apple-making traditions, from c***r making to mulled c***r and homemade apple juice.

Pop-up BBQ with Head Butcher Doug – serving gourmet hotdogs with a choice of Jumbo Pork, Jumbo Pork and Apple or Jumbo Venison and Mulled C***r sausages with sides.
Serving from 11am.

Bus and Bug VW Coffee Van will be joining us on site serving up warming hot drinks including autumn specials.

At apple harvest each year we celebrate the abundant skill and tireless endeavour of local orchardists by presenting to our customers an unrivalled array of truly fresh hand-picked fruit of phenomenal flavour and impeccable provenance.
Apples for eating, apples for cooking, apples for juicing and for the c***r we make, together with luscious pears and aromatic quinces and the bletted medlars from our own farmhouse orchard.

Eat, drink and preserve local fruit to safeguard our local orchards for generations to come.

Beth has been baking up a storm in our kitchen.

Her latest seasonal treats include apple crumble muffins, pumpkin and brown sugar cookies, and this rich pecan brownie slice.

Homemade here at Middle Farm and available from the Tearoom counter.

Lily is on hand to present this season’s new syrup flavours in our Tearoom - along with one very photogenic pumpkin, although it took rather more attempts than expected to find its best side…

Choose our spiced pumpkin or brown sugar syrup, added to your favourite coffee or hot chocolate for a rich, comforting autumn treat.

Mince pie season is under way in the Middle Farm kitchen - a sure sign that Christmas is drawing near.

Made here by hand, each of our traditional mince pies pairs crisp, golden pastry with a generous helping of rich mincemeat.

The first 227 are ready, with just 1,273 still to make…

You can purchase them in the Farm Shop from the beginning of November, or settle in by the Tearoom fire and enjoy one with a freshly made cup of coffee.

We’re delighted to share that Keel Toys are now available in our Gift Shop. Our lovely collection features beautifully soft versions of many favourite farm animals.

Choose your favourite to take home as a special reminder of your day with us.
With cows, pigs, sheep, deer, cats, foxes and horses to choose from, its the perfect way to round off your visit to the Open Farm.

New meads from Paradise Garage Brewing Co. in Sheffield!

Tim Young started making mead on a small scale in Vietnam, during the pandemic. After being thrown back into the UK, during one of the strangest periods in human history, he was offered some commercial brewing space by friend – and Paradise Garage was born (again).

Named for visionary New York discotheque, the meadery takes inspiration and indeed attitude from its esoteric roots. Today, Tim produces a range of unusual and tantalising meads ranging from a pure honey iteration all the way to a blackcurrant and red peppercorn bochet – all of them named for clubs in the New York disco scene of the 70s and 80s.

We love the vision and the creativity behind what’s being done here, and we’re really excited to get tasting.
