COVID-19 Update--We’ve been giving this quite a bit of thought along with keeping utd on ever changing information. It is with a heavy heart and in everyone’s best interest that we have closed the barn temporarily.

The virus can live on surfaces for days. Plastics and steel have one of the longest timelines and people can be contagious without symptoms for days as well. You and others go separately to the barn. You all touch door knobs, halters, cross ties, tack, brushes, brooms, stall doors, gates etc. And if one of you has it, we get sick, you get sick, you take it back to your family, etc. This is avoidable and we need to do our part.

Thank you for your cooperation and understanding as the world navigates this, and we do our part.

We have some Big news! Aside from adding onto our family any day now... High Expectations Horse Ranch will be expanding this year!! We have recently purchased the 37 acres of land adjoining our current property and have some big plans for it including: lots of new larger pastures for outside boarding and inside boarding horses, paddocks, an expansion on the outdoor arena (doubling in size!), an addition to the barn, and our own 11 acres of personal mini kettles type trails!! Just to show you the tip of the iceberg. So many big plans we can't wait to get started on! 2017 was an amazing busy year and I can't thank all my clientele enough for your continued support!! Bring on 2018, I can't wait to see what we can do with another year!!

2012 sorrel and white overo registered paint horse. Out of quarter horse great Chocolua and White Texas Chip. Currently stands approximately 15.1 hands, is expected to mature to 16 hands. Amazing curious, willing, sweet personality. Started slowly this winter with about 120 days under saddle. Ellie would make an excellent hunt seat, dressage or jumper. Eventing may also be in her future. She bathes, clips, loads, and is great for the farrier and vet. Starting showmanship and in hand trail, could also do some western. Ellie has a great start and is ready to be finished in whatever direction you want.
