I had a few people asking what we use for hoof trimmers the other day after posting this picture so I figured I’d share them with you all!

We use the ARS shears, we switched to these twoish? Years ago, we’ve never sharpened them, we haven’t replaced them, and they still work GREAT!

We do have a hoofboss as well but I’m too chicken to use it 😬

I do want to point out that not all of my girls feet look this nice after a trim, she just has SUPER nice hooves like her momma ✨

I always giggle when people compliment me on how well behaved my goats are when coming into the creamery because that huge bruise on my leg is from them knocking me over in the doorway between the barn and creamery and literally stampeding over me while I laid on the ground 🙃
