Last but certainly not least, we have our pretty little Oregon kid! If you told me 2 or 3 years ago that I’d be getting goats from Oregon I’d tell you you were crazy. If you told me a year ago that we’d be bringing home a Grande Ronde Dairy doe I’d be jumping up and down with joy, and would still tell you you’re crazy ✨
Thankfully Greg’s crazy and made this all happen
Greg sent me a photo of the back end of this does dam, I said “wow, who is that”, and he said “a doe we’re getting a kid out of” 😂
And I don’t buy or breed for color, as some of you might remember we started our herd with spots and ended up selling them all, brown Nubians seems to be the theme here! But after Greg picked this girl up he calls me up and goes “babe, she has a couple Moonspots” I FREAKED!
So now I can say I have a gorgeous Grande Ronde doe on the farm and I also have Moonspots here again
I’m really excited to watch this little doe grow 🩷
