🌸 Pressed Flower Art 🌸

One of the things my girls—and especially Eden—absolutely LOVE doing is creating pressed flower art! 🥰

There’s something so special about taking tiny pieces of nature and turning them into something beautiful. Our pressed flowers are a mix of flowers grown right here in our own yard and some that we’ve purchased online, all carefully arranged and framed by the girls. 🌿🌸

Each piece makes such a sweet, one-of-a-kind gift or a beautiful little touch of nature for your home or office. And knowing that the girls had their hands in creating them makes each one even more special. ❤️

You’ll see a few new pressed flower art pieces at tomorrow’s Pop-Up Shop & U-Pick Flower Field Experience! 🌻💐

This Friday, August 21st from 4–7 PM, we’re opening up Twisted Roots Flower Farm for our Pop-Up Shop + U-Pick Flower Field Experience! 🌻💐

Our flowers are in FULL BLOOM right now, and they are absolutely gorgeous! And guess what?! Our sunflower field is in full bloom, too! 🌻 It makes the most beautiful backdrop for photos, so bring your camera and capture some sweet memories with your family, friends, or someone special. 📸❤️

Come spend the evening picking your own flowers, exploring the farm, and enjoying a fun farm scavenger hunt with the kids. 🌸🌿

And of course, you can’t leave without trying an organic treat baked fresh by our family! 🍪❤️

🌸 Dahlias: It’s All About the Stem! 🌸

If you’re growing dahlias for bouquets, long, strong stems are the goal! In today’s video, I’m sharing how we encourage our dahlia plants to produce those beautiful, bouquet-worthy stems. 🌿✂️

A few fun dahlia facts:
🌸 Dahlias are native to Mexico and Central America.
🌸 They come in thousands of varieties, shapes, sizes, and colors.
🌸 The more you harvest dahlias, the more they produce!
🌸 Regular cutting encourages branching and helps keep those blooms coming all season long—right up until frost. ❄️

And let’s be honest… there’s just something magical about a bucket full of freshly harvested dahlias! 🤍
