Weszeli, Two Sides of Kamptal 🇦🇹

Austria’s Weingut Weszeli farms organically in the heart of Kamptal, where loess soils over ancient bedrock and cool nights produce wines with remarkable freshness and definition. Rather than chasing a house style, Weszeli lets each wine speak for itself.

The 2024 Kamptal GrĂĽner Veltliner is everything great GrĂĽner should be: crisp, citrusy, peppery, and driven by vibrant minerality. Clean, energetic with a hint of asparagus stalk on the finish.

Mystique Rosé takes a different path. A field blend of Zweigelt, Scheurebe, and Müller-Thurgau, it blurs the line between rosé and light red, bringing juicy cherry, pomegranate, wildflowers, and bright acidity in a wine that’s as refreshing as it is intriguing.

Two bottles, two expressions of Kamptal—one rooted in classic precision, the other happily defying categories.

Brise d’Aunis: Chill Me Maybe 🍷

La Grange aux Belles has helped define a generation of Loire natural wine through thoughtful farming and an uncompromising approach in the cellar. Farming organically around Anjou, the estate works with indigenous yeasts, minimal intervention, and a clear focus on purity and drinkability.

Brise d’Aunis is a pun on the cult French comedy Brice de Nice and a celebration of Pineau d’Aunis, one of the Loire’s oldest native grapes. Bright red fruit, floral lift, vibrant acidity, and the variety’s signature white pepper spice come together in a wine that’s as distinctive as its name.
Light on its feet yet full of character, it captures everything we love about Loire reds: freshness, energy, and effortless drinkability.

It’s the kind of bottle that disappears faster than expected.

DE MOOR: Quietly Defining Chablis 🌙

From Alice and Olivier de Moor, among Burgundy’s most admired growers, these wines embody everything that has made the domaine legendary: organic farming, meticulous vineyard work, and remarkably transparent expressions of place. Whether under their own label or the Vendangeur Masqué project, every bottle carries the same quiet precision, vibrant energy, and unmistakable sense of terroir.
This release brings together six distinctive wines, from crystalline Chablis Premier Crus to a beautifully textured Bourgogne Aligoté, an adventurous Alsace-Burgundy white blend, and a refined Bourgogne Rouge. Quantities are always limited, and these wines rarely stay on our shelves for long.

rosé Mourvèdre

Romain Le Bars produces highly sought-after, natural “zero-zero” wines in the southern Rhône/Gard region of France. A protégé of Tavel legend Eric Pfifferling, Le Bars creates elegant, vibrant wines using whole-cluster carbonic maceration and direct pressing, aging in old wood barrels without fining, filtration, or added sulfur

Au Bon Secours 2024 — Babass 🍇

Sébastien Dervieux — better known simply as Babass — was one of the pioneers of zero-additive winemaking in the Loire. In 2001, he co-founded Domaine des Griottes, helping define a generation of natural wine growers who proved that farming and cellar work alone could produce wines of purity and character.

Today, from Beaulieu-sur-Layon south of Angers, Babass continues to farm old vines of Chenin Blanc, Cabernet Franc, Grolleau and Gamay rooted in clay, sandstone, and slate soils. Most of his time is spent in the vineyard.
Everything is done by hand, and in the cellar the approach is uncompromising: spontaneous fermentations, no additives, and intervention only when absolutely necessary.

The wines are free and vibrant, but never careless — the result of decades of experience and a deep understanding of both vineyard and cellar.

Sebastien Babass Dervieux, Au Bon Secours, VDF, 2024

A pure, energetic expression of Babass’ approach to winemaking. Fresh, lively, and driven by fruit, with the balance and confidence that come from careful farming and minimal intervention. A wine that feels both untamed and deeply considered.

Join us Thurday June 25th - 6 to 7:30pm!

🍷 BURGUNDY 101 with Ethan Brown of Vineyard Brands

For our next wine class, we’ll be diving into Burgundy with Ethan Brown of Vineyard Brand Selections, exploring the region through a focused lineup of Chardonnay and Pinot Noir from regional, village, and premier cru appellations.

The tasting will move from approachable regional Burgundy into more site-specific wines from Chassagne-Montrachet, Meursault, Gevrey-Chambertin, and Nuits-Saint-Georges.

This is a great opportunity to understand how Burgundy’s wines shift through place, classification, producer, and vintage — from regional bottlings to village wines and premier cru expressions.

The lineup includes:

Sauzet, Bourgogne Chardonnay 2023
Vincent Girardin, Chassagne-Montrachet “Vieilles Vignes” 2021
Domaine Matrot, Meursault 1er Cru “Blagny” 2022
Domaine Les Astrelles, Bourgogne Hautes-CĂ´tes de Nuits Rouge 2022
Liger-Belair, Gevrey-Chambertin “En Créot” 2022
Domaine Henri Gouges, Nuits-Saint-Georges 1er Cru “Clos des Porrets Saint-Georges” 2022

Plus one mystery wine served blind.

Ethan will guide the tasting with context on Burgundy’s classifications, villages, producers, and vineyards, making the class useful for both curious beginners and anyone looking to deepen their understanding of the region.

The Saillard Drop 🍷 💥💥💥

After many years in the New York restaurant world, Laurent Saillard returned to his native Loire in 2008 to begin again — this time in the vineyard. He trained under Noëlla Morantin and worked alongside Clos Roche Blanche before releasing his first vintage under his own name in 2012.
Today, he farms organically in Pouillé, tending small plots of Sauvignon Blanc, Gamay, Pineau d’Aunis, and Grolleau — including rare, mature Pineau d’Aunis vines that are increasingly difficult to find in the region. Everything is done by hand. No chemical sprays. Constant observation. Soil health as priority.
In the cellar: spontaneous fermentations, no fining or filtration, neutral aging in fiberglass or old oak, and only minuscule sulfur at bottling.
Laurent Saillard’s wines are produced in small quantities and are available in only a handful of carefully selected shops and restaurants. Clear, energetic, and composed — they reflect patience, detail, and restraint.

We’re thrilled to have the 2025s in!

Domaine des Carlines 2024 -Jura Poulsard🍷

A bright, gently aromatic Poulsard from the Jura’s Domaine des Carlines. This light- to medium-bodied red is lifted by lively acidity, soft, silky tannins, and pure fruit that sings of red cherries, wild strawberry, and subtle spice. Its refreshing energy and savory finesse make this a versatile bottle — equally at home with charcuterie, lighter fare, or just a glass on its own.

Translucent in the glass and quietly aromatic, this Poulsard leans into Jura’s signature delicacy. Tart cranberry and crushed red currant lead, followed by subtle earth, dried rose, and a faint mineral snap. The texture is silky and lifted rather than weighty, with bright acidity keeping everything focused and precise. Light in color but not in character, it’s a red that rewards a slight chill and pairs effortlessly with charcuterie, roast chicken, or alpine cheeses.
