Tonight from 6-8! Come try a red and a rose Lambrusco from the family run Corte Pagliare of Lombardy! The small, family run, organic farm is located in the Po river plains, outside of Mantova, near the beautiful, forsaken hamlet of Sabbioneta, a Reinassance gem.

The winery was started in 2001 by Mimma and her husband and has 3 hectares of vineyards on clay soil well suited for vine-growing, so much so that the Benedectine monks were already making wine in the area in the year 1000. The vines cultivated are different clones of Lambrusco such as Salamino and Sorbara, but the main focus is the Viadanese clone, indigenous of this part of Lombardia. It produces a wine of intense color and robust and rustic character. Its characteristics are enhanced by the fact that the Corte Pagliare wines ferment in the bottle without any added yeasts, rather than in charmat tanks, thus preserving intact all the varietals personality.

Tonight’s lineup includes the Ven Crud NV, a refreshing sparkling rose, and the rustic and fresh Lambrusco Mantovano NV.

Tonight from 6 to 8! Come try 3 exciting new releases from Natus of Portugal! Hamilton Reis was the head winemaker for Cortes de Cima for 14 years, and his current day job is the head winemaker for Herdade do Mouchao, arguably the most legendary producer of dry wine in all of Portugal.

For over a decade, however, he has nurtured the ambition to make wine under his own name, and with total freedom from vineyard to glass. He started by preparing the land. At his home in Vidigueira, he underwent a cycle of cover crop seeding and livestock grazing that lasted for 10 years. Finally, in 2018 he started planting the vineyard to a blend of varieties, each stake trained into their own mini pergolas, to help the future canopies protect the future fruit from the Alentejano sun. The vineyard has been certified organic since its inception, and Hamilton continues regenerative viticultural practices with cover crops and no tillage to further enrich the soils.

He has also purchased several small, near centenary, always dry farmed vineyards close by, which are also in the process of organic certification. The wines have burst onto the scene with immediate acclaim. Combining delicate precision, texture and finesse.

Tonight’s line-up features the Branco - a white blend with citrus and stone fruit aromas, the Tinto - a delicate red with hints of spice on the nose, and the Intus Tinto - the perfect everyday drinker.

Tonight from 6 to 8! Come beat the heat and try three fun & affordable new releases from Les Bidules of Southern France! Les Bidules is a natural, low-intervention winemaking project located in the Languedoc-Roussillon region, situated near Sète between Béziers and Montpellier. The project is a partnership between Nicolas Dutour & Julie Benau, with Benau consulting on all of the vinification and winemaking and Nicolas executing all of the winemaking on site.

The project sources its grapes from sun-drenched, biodynamically and organically cultivated vineyards located in Pinet and around the coastal Étangs de Thau lagoon. These specific vineyard sites feature a rich mix of rocky soils and broad hillside terraces that enjoy a southern exposure sheltered from cold northern winds. Proximity to the Mediterranean Sea provides crucial maritime breezes and cooling summer influences, which preserve vibrant acidity and infuse the wines with a distinctive, refreshing salinity.

Tonight’s lineup features the fresh & racy Picpoul, the clean & mineral Rose - a blend of Cinsault & Syrah, and the crushable, chillable Red (made from 100% Grenache).

Tonight from 6-8! Come try two new releases from California darling, Florez Wines! One of California’s most exciting and technically accomplished natural wine projects, Florez is a Santa Cruz Mountains winery founded in 2017 by James Jelks, a UC Davis-trained winemaker who spent a decade working in wineries across the world before returning home to make wine in the redwoods of the Santa Cruz coast.

At the forefront of a new wave of Santa Cruz producers, Jelks combines old-world technique with new-world terroir: native yeast fermentation, no additives except minimal sulfur at bottling, organic and dry-farmed vineyards, and Japanese-style woodcut labels by his friend and tattoo artist Drew Nelson.

Tonight’s lineup includes the Lovebirds - a fun and flirty co-ferment of Chardonnay & Pinot Noir, and the super limited Chardonnay Moonmilk - a beautifully delicate and pristine white.

Tonight from 6 to 8! So nice, we had to feature his wines twice! Come try three delightful whites from Leo Sommer of Burgenland, Austria. The Leithaberg appellation is a very special place geologically – the last eastern ridge of the Alps, the shore of an ancient sea, with schist and limestone soils that cradle millions of years old shark fossils. Leo Sommer took the lead of his family’s winery in the heart of Leithaberg in 2015 – a family winery dating back to 1698 – and his first consideration was how to make wines that honor both history and place, while still bearing out his own vision of “emotionally appealing wines”.

Looking back to his grandfather’s methods, he found that minimal intervention winemaking has strong precedent in the family. For Leo, that approach held the key. The resulting wines are some of the most elegant and singular coming out of Austria – full of salt, herbs, and stony tension that the unique Leithaberg terroir makes possible.

Tonight’s lineup includes the complex and elegant Handwerk Riesling, the vibrant and mineral Handwerk Welschriesling, and the salty and complex Gruner Veltliner Ried Halser.

Tonight from 6 to 8! Come cool off in our AC and try two new releases from Tuscan winery Poggio Levante! A relatively young estate located in the province of Grosseto in the Maremma area, Poggio Levante was established by the owners of the established Venetian winery, Mont’Albano, who were drawn to the unique potential of the Tuscan terroir. The estate focuses on crafting wines that express the unique character of the region, using sustainable practices and local grape varieties like Vermentino to produce a focused range of quality wines.

Tonight’s lineup includes their Vermentino Unne - a vibrant and aromatic white - and their Sangiovese Ovvia - a bright red with notes of spice, red currant, blackberry and dried cherry.

Tonight from 6 to 8! Come try two fresh and fun new releases from California winery, Scar of the Sea! Founded by Mikey Giugni in 2012, his style as a winemaker has gone through deep explorations and many iterations since that beginning. Begun as a négoce project, Mikey has migrated from focusing on Chardonnay and Pinot Noir at his beginnings to a much wider swath of vineyard-focused, personally-farmed sites on the Central Coast. He’s now landed with his partner in life and work - Gina Giugni of sister label Lady of the Sunshine - for a permanent winemaking home in San Luis Obispo.

For both labels, Gina and Mikey are aiming for clear expressions of the Pacific, only a mile away from their home plot of Bassi vineyard, as well as the climate and specific terroir character of the other unique vineyard sites with which they get to work. The wines from Scar of the Sea have a sense of fruit depth, roundness of shape, and forward, immediately notable aromas. These are two of the more sincere souls working in California these days, and as their wines continue to evolve, we see worlds of ongoing potential in the heights they’re able to reach.

Tonight’s line-up features the Pinot Noir Rose Topotero Methode Ancestral - a mineral and aromatic sparkling rose - and the chillable Bassi Vineyard Pinot Gris / Pinot Noir. Both are sure to knock your socks off!

Tonight from 6 to 8! Come try 3 gorgeous Sancerres from talented young winemaker, Nicolas Millerioux! Nicolas is part of a contingent of French vignerons who have traveled enough to see how the world’s top appellations are going retrograde – returning to the best lo-fi practices of the past – and has now brought these techniques to his family’s vineyards at Domaine Georges Millérioux.

Located in the hamlet of Amigny, just west of the village of Sancerre and south of Chavignol, the Millérioux’s have worked the land here for three generations. Amigny is known for its chalky soils, and 95% of the Millérioux’s holdings come from a mix of the classic limestone terroirs of the region: “Caillotes” (a hard, shallow limestone full of stones) and “Terres Blanches” (a softer Kimmeridgian marl).

Nico’s goal is to define how Sancerre might have tasted earlier in the 20th century, before modern vine-clone monotony and industrial practices in the vineyards and cellar, and if his early work is any indication, he will surely be leading the charge as part of Sancerre’s new generation.

Tonight’s line-up includes the mineral and salty “Les Romains,” the structured and powerful “Les Collinots,” and their fresh and playful Sancerre rose. All three are sure to help you cool off in style!

Tonight from 6 to 8! Come try three refreshing new releases from Central Coast California darling Outward Wines! Natalie Siddique and Ryan Pace started Outward Wines in 2016 to share their love of Syrah and the Central Coast of California. Partners in life and in business, Natalie and Ryan are incredible rock climbers (El Capitan in 15 hours!) and avid travelers who love to explore wine regions the world over. They bring that focus and inspiration to their winemaking and have created a unique and surprising portrait of Central Coast wine.

Since that first vintage Outward has grown to use 10 different grape varieties from coastal sites spanning San Luis Obispo, Santa Barbara, and Monterey counties. Each wine is single variety and single site, making Outward one of the most terroir-focused wineries in the area. Diverse places like Shell Creek Vineyard in Paso Robles (some of the first vines in SLO County, planted 1971) to biodynamic practicing hillside Bassi Vineyard near Avila Beach and ancient sand dunes turned vineyard Presqu’ile in Santa Maria Valley are just a few of the snapshots of the county from Outward.

Tonight’s line-up includes the Montana de Oro - a blend of mostly Chenin Blanc, Sauvignon Blanc & Chardonnay, the Shell Creek Vineyard Valdiguie - a bright, juicy red that’s perfect with a bit of a chill, and the Two Wolves Vineyard Grenache Rose - a Provence-style rose with notes of hibiscus and raspberry.
