📣 Calling all Bates County 4-H and FFA members.

The Bates County Farm Bureau is proud to offer a grant to 4-H and FFA members, and 4-H clubs or FFA chapters in Bates County. The purpose of the grant program is to support 4-H projects and SAE's, or encourage community service projects. Grant funds are being offered to individuals (up to $250 each) and 4-H clubs or FFA chapters (up to $500 each).

Missouri Farm Bureau’s Legislative Banquet will take place on Tuesday, February 24. members from across the state will gather in Jefferson City to meet with legislators in the Capitol and advocate for legislation that impacts their farms and communities.

We hope you will join us for our annual Legislative Banquet at Missouri Farm Bureau on Tuesday, February 24, between 5:30 and 9:00 p.m.

Appetizers and drinks will be available at 5:30 p.m. Dinner will be served from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. A short program featuring Governor Kehoe will begin around 7:00 p.m. Hospitality will end at 9:00 p.m. Please feel welcome to drop in at any time that is convenient for you. Also, please invite members of your team to attend.

Join us this evening to learn about diversifying through specialty crops or direct marketing can open new revenue streams for farmers. Tonight’s program will cover the basics of direct marketing, considerations for market channel selection, and tools to start or scale farmers’ efforts.
