Raymond Jake Farm We are located an hour south of STL, nestled on 11 acres in Cadet, MO. ADGA Reg Quality Nigerian Dwarfs We raise quality ADGA registered stock.

We are a small farm located an hour south of STL, nestled on 11 acres in Cadet, MO. We participate in LA and DHI. Each year we will be offering some of our offspring for sale, as well as the opportunity to occasionally purchase mature does or bucks.

Linear Appraisal this year was HOT, HOT, HOT! I was pleased with how these does showed up despite the heat and most in milk for over 5 months at this point. Not to mention our NC transplants came from halfway across the country a short time ago!

I was hoping for photos but it was waaayyyy too hot and our ladies had been through enough! Yessss Queen pictured in May, she has matured considerably more since. ❤️

Let’s talk bedding!

What is your favorite bedding in the Summer versus the winter? What is your barn floor comprised of? How often do you strip it all?

OG horse person here so I really want to reset 2x day but that just isn’t possible to the degree I would like.

Currently we are using a thick layer of bedding pellets and a thick layer of straw in the winter/Spring with a full strip weekly and also spot as needed with adding more straw too throughout the week.

Summer I like to keep everything swept (concrete and matted) 2-3x per day and use pools with pellets or shavings. Also resetting these weekly.
