This is what it's all about. 🥹
This is our sweet second grader in front of his school holding our farm veggies which are going into the cafeteria!! We are so grateful to the Charlotte Central School food service team for collaborating with us!
You may think that it would be easy for local schools to purchase from local farms especially in VT, but alas it's not. It's work for everyone to be able to make these relationships possible. Please continue to support and fight for these efforts in your communities. Nourishing our children's bellies while their minds work hard should be paramount to education in this country - we'll just keep doing what we can.
