Thank you so much for the book donations so far. We will keep the book donation boxes out everyday. We are happy to take any books..kids, young adult, adult fiction, non-fiction, how to books, cookbooks, etc ...we hope to keep a large variety available in the shack so there is something for everyone.

We will post as soon as the shack is stocked with books. 📚

I see zucchini bread in my future... left him a little too long. 😏

**Eggs are sold out**Just put fresh eggs in the shack.

The book donation boxes will be out until the rain starts today and then the boxes will be inside the shack on the freezers.
The boxes will be back out all weekend. Feel free to stop by anytime to drop off books. Hoping to have the shelves up and loaded with books within the next couple days. Keep an eye out for that post! 🥚 🍳 📚 📖

We have another project in the works. Decided we need a free little library in our shack. Hoping to have books in there within the next week or so. Hoping to have a wide range of genres. We have lots of children's options.
If anyone has any books gathering dust that you would like to donate we will have a drop box for book donations. Who doesn't love books. 📚 📖

We will post when we have books in the shack 😊

We are unfortunately coming into winter and that means a few things...first, we have reduced our laying flock by half. We still have approx. 60 hens but all hens do not lay an egg every day. Second, Hens also will slow down as the weather gets colder, some will molt etc. Third, As long as the weather stays above freezing and the hens lay we will put what eggs are available in the shack. We will run out of eggs every day. We have never been able to keep up with demand even with over 200 hens. That is a good thing but we know it can be discouraging for those that come and find an empty fridge. 🥚 🍳

We appreciate you and
Thank you all for your continued support. 😊

*These eggs just went out to the shack 😉
