We offer show quality rabbits, prime plucked angora and a variety of natural and dyed rovings, locks and handspun yarn.

A huge Thank You to everyone who stopped by the High Tower Farm FuzzyKritters Farm and Higher Ground Farm booths in the rabbit barn at Michigan Fiber Festival . It was a pleasure to share our passion for fiber animals with you. Your interest and support of our farm to fiber endeavors was amazing. We look forward to seeing you next year and welcome "Show and Tells" on our pages.(show and tell us what you made with your purchases or learned about caring for your fiber animals) I didn't take photos......so I decided to post something Old and something New. The first two photos are from 2002. They prove to the grandkids that their dad Paul Ayers got me started with angora goats and that's how he learned to clip goat hooves. Their family now cares for my remaining 5 old does. It also speaks to the heritage of this festival and its' volunteers. Note: goat superintendent: Liz Stout Something new: This was Gus's first camping trip and he did great! He did discover that my bed is more comfortable than his bed. See you all next year!

A big Thank you to everyone who stopped by the High Tower Farm and FuzzyKritters Farm booth in the rabbit barn at Michigan Fiber Festival yesterday. The angora goat show and sheep shows are today. If you need to rest your feet, come sit with us and knit or spin for a while.

Inside the main part of the barn 100 degrees, Outside 93 degrees, Inside the rabbit area 85 degrees. Thank you Erin Hocking Ayers for suggesting using the "room within a room" and Paul Ayers , JM Ayers and Leigh Whitehouse for making it happen. No air conditioning, just good ventilation and air flow engineering. Still hot but the rabbits are doing OK. I'm looking forward to spending time at Michigan Fiber Festival. My phone says it's a pleasant 74 degrees there today.

Ever wanted to have your own small farm in Central Michigan? Now's your chance. I'm relocating to Mt Vernon Illinois to be closer to these two special people. I have wonderful friends but found I was just too lonely without Don. I'll be vending at the Fresh Coast Fiber Festival, Dances With Wool Free Fleece Days, Michigan Fiber Festival and Northern Michigan Fiber Festival this year so I look forward to seeing you all there.
