So it’s no surprise that when founders Peggy & Greg Harmston moved back home to the hills of Massbach, they started their search for what the ridges of their rural land could support. The start of the vineyard at Massbach Ridge was in 2000, with the Massbach tasting room opening in late 2003. We started with just a few styles of wines and have expanded to over 15 wines. sting room was opened in downtown Galena on 117 S. We invite you out to either of our locations to discover your new favorite wine and relax in a simple and laid-back atmosphere. Schedule a tour with a group of your friends and family or stop in to one of our upcoming events.

We only want one shoot at the bottom of the trunks to train up as a new vine for the future on plants that need new growth. Pete here is ready to help with that task.
