No better feeling than seeing the fruits of our labors head towards freezers to feed local families!

Pastured pork is a fairly new venture for us, with us dipping our toes into it last fall. It’s been incredibly rewarding, and we’re expecting two litters of future bacon seeds in a few weeks! 🥓🐷

Kyle headed to the processor this morning. Dude enjoyed a nice nap on the trailer after a belly full of breakfast. I don’t think this was the field trip he was planning on, but it didn’t bother him one bit😂

We’re just a little less than a month into our breeding lease with Atticus of Edmundson Springs Cattle!
10/10 recommend this program. From a docile temperament, conformation, carcass quality, and everything in between, Atticus has been everything we’d hoped and more, a true testament to the ESC program!
When I tell y’all I’m excited about our 2027 calves, I’m reallyyyy excited.

If you need a new herd sire, I know a gal😉

Shamoo, Joker, and Darla are all coming around to the idea of snacks and petting, which is exactly what we want out of our herd. Simple, low-stress handling from a young age, usually accompanied by some sort of affection or reward, and our herd stays friendly and easily managed even when they’re much larger.

Our birds are raised on rotated pasture, no added antibiotics or hormones, high in omega-3s and other essential nutrients, and raised humanely, start to finish, here on our farm in Ellenboro!
