Great job opportunity to work with a really great family!

We are looking for one or two additional team members to start as soon as possible.

- Would prefer someone with fencing experience, but not a necessity
- Prefer someone capable of operating a skid steer, four wheeler, power and air tools
- Looking for an applicant that has a drivers license, basic knowledge of tools, and drive
- Pay will be based on experience and abilities
- We work outside in all weather conditions, year-round
- Minimum of 40 hours a week (Monday-Friday), year-round

A month ago we didn’t know if we’d see green grass at all, pastures will take some time to recover but it’s a blessing to look out and see green fields all around.

A little early but a great sight to come home to after a week at the beach! Fall calving has begun!

We are so thankful for the recent rain and chances look good for storms this week but we are still stressing about feed this winter.
This is a great opportunity to meet with Dr. Currin and a FSA agent to discuss feeding options this winter.

This was a rare storm, second one in a day that came out of no where and hit everywhere we rent, own, and share from Pilot, Shawsville, Alleghany Springs, and Elliston. Praying for rain every day til we get a new Baler and can get back into haymaking! 🙏

As America celebrated its 250th birthday, Madison Farm is proud to celebrate a history that reaches back almost as far.

Established in 1779, Madison Farm has been cared for by generations of families for nearly 250 years. Over the centuries, the land passed from the Madison family to the Peyton family, then to the Ellis family, later to the Marye family, and today continues to be cared for by their descendants.

Imagine all this land has witnessed—from the early days of our nation to today. While America was just beginning its journey, this farm was already part of Virginia's agricultural landscape.

Nearly two and a half centuries later, we're honored to continue the legacy of those who came before us, preserving the land, our farming heritage, and the traditions that have stood the test of time.
