CMS Acres RL Something Sweet has some crazy capacity

All the girls have not been milked since two weeks ago. All have since dried off except Sweety. She is going strong. We check her daily for heat or signs of mastitis. To decrease the risk of mastitis I have always stopped cold turkey but it has never taken this long for a doe to start drying off.

Someone tell her its time to stop making milk 🙃

(CMS Acres goats placed 1-5 in the class of 8 spring kids)

It is super exciting that the Nigerians had the largest number of goats shown and nearly all of them were from our herd (either shown by one of our showman, or shown by their new owner)

I took some udder pictures today. This was after pulling kids for about 2 hours (so they are not full) but I figured having some sort of pictures right now is better than none.

Somehow I missed Moana. We will catch her another day.

We have many kids available. I am going to try to get some updated pictures of them posted soon as well. We have 4 available bucklings and 12 available doellings.

Kids all got disbudded, cd&t, pneumonia vaccine, and toltrazuril (coccidia prevention) today.

Fenview DTB Minnie Mouse "Minnie" kidded today with triplet doellings ❤️

Minnie is a pretty special girl so that was a nice surprise to find tonight after her looking so close for over a week.
