Sunny Acres Farm Sunny Acres specializes in the breeding and showing of exceptional Ayrshires. Who are the sixth generation on the farm. We welcome visitors at all times.

Sunny Acres' story began in 1932 when Gerald Evans, Doug's father, bought his first Ayrshire and eventually turned a Holstein farm into 100% Ayrshires. Today, Sunny Acres is owned and operated by Douglas, his wife Kathryn and their four children, Andrew, Laura, Gregory and Rachel. Granddaughter’s Emma and Emery now the 7th generation. Our goal is to breed tremendous Ayrshires that not only grace t

he show rings with their immense strength, beauty and power but to tip the scales in the milk tank as well. Sunny Acres has bred and owned about 200 Excellent cows and over 200 All-American Nominees along with winning multiple French Trophy awards for top milk production in the United States. We pride ourselves in taking exceptional care of our cows and our facilities. Our door is always open!!
