We’ve had rough weather today with heavy rain, wind, tornado warning, flooding and trees down, however, about 2 hours ago we had a double rainbow and PURPLE CLOUDS! I never knew purple clouds existed! Did you know about purple clouds? Next time (if there is one) I am grabbing my camera! Amazing!

Been a busy day on RHomestead harvesting medicinal herbs and of course, when you start with heirloom seeds, you must always extract seeds from your plants. That’s what’s in the brown bags. There’s more in the carriage house and more to harvest, ‘tis the season for lots of work on RHomestead show me what you’ve been harvesting recently.

Meet our 2 1/2 week old baby bunny. Unfortunately, mommy passed away during labor, and this little one was left behind. Jenny, our daughter has been bottlefeeding this baby for the last 2 1/2 weeks and we really didn’t know if it was going to make it but baby bunny is growing and thriving eyes are opening. It’s been absolute amazing around RHomestead. Do you all have any name suggestions? Currently, I call it squishy.
