SAVA Trading Co

We love our friends at Tandem chocolates!

As the weather gets cooler, I am reminded of the warm flavors of autumn: spicy cinnamon, tart apples, and, of course, rich vanilla bean. I have been using SAVA Trading Co's vanilla beans for years, and they have become not just business partners but friends.

Their commitment to investing in the Malagasy communities through education, clean water, poverty alleviation, and healthcare opportunities is in direct alignment with Tandem Chocolates' values.

I am proud to use their vanilla beans in everything from my caramel sauce to my signature fillings and everything in between. Thank you to Kurtis, Holly, and their team for being a part of our story all these years. 🩵

Sambava Madagascar 2026! Until next time🇲🇬🫶

09/03/2026

We had a fun day in the kitchen here in the SAVA region of Madagascar. Our hope is that, by training local Malagasy how to make their own products, with their own real ingredients, they will be able to make an amazing product and create sustainable jobs here in the beloved Red Island! 🇲🇬❤️

The drink of the Derby 🐎🌿

Nothing says Kentucky Derby like a crisp, ice-cold Mint Julep—and we’ve made it even easier to craft with our SAVA Mint Simple Syrup.

Fresh. Smooth. Perfectly balanced.

Whether you’re hosting a party, watching the race, or just enjoying a slow afternoon, this classic cocktail brings the tradition home.

✨ Pro tip: Don’t skip the crushed ice—it’s what gives that signature chill and texture.

Save this recipe, mix one up, and raise a glass to good times and great flavor.
