This morning, my daughter and I went to McIntosh Lake to watch the sunrise… and nature presented us with this. šŸŒ…āœØ

No plans. No expectations. Just two souls standing together while the universe quietly reminded us how beautiful it is simply to be here.

Some moments don’t need an explanation. You just stop, look, feel… and say thank you. ā¤ļø

Grateful that I got to witness this one through her eyes.

Tonight, beneath the glow of the Blood Moon šŸŒ•

I have only one wish for every soul looking up at the same sky:

May the pain you have carried quietly become lighter.
May the sorrow you never found words for slowly leave your heart.
May you forgive what needs forgiving, release what needs releasing, and find peace with what cannot be changed.

And perhaps there is something beautiful nature is teaching us tonight.

The Moon has no light of its own. It borrows its light from the Sun, yet it still finds a way to light our darkness — even while passing through darkness itself.

May we learn something from nature.

Even when we are going through our own darkness, perhaps we can still borrow a little light — from love, kindness, friendship, or another soul — and pass that light on to someone who needs it.

We are all just stardust passing through this beautiful little moment in an infinite universe, carrying our own stories, our own wounds, and our own hopes.

Tonight, may this Blood Moon remind us that darkness may cover the light for a moment, but it can never take the light away.

May every soul hurting tonight wake up a little lighter tomorrow.

Be present. Be kind. Keep sharing the light.

Some souls don’t connect because they are alike.

They connect because something feels familiar beyond words.

No chasing.
No forcing.
No need to explain.

Just a quiet recognition — as if two pieces of stardust crossed an infinite universe, only to meet here, in this moment. ✨

I believe we recognize these connections most clearly when we become quiet enough to look beyond the mind — beyond society’s norms, learned habits, expectations, and the bundle of thoughts we have collected and called ā€œI.ā€

The ego wants to analyze, label and understand.
The soul simply recognizes.

Maybe these connections aren’t about someone completing us. Maybe they remind us of something we already knew before our minds became crowded with ideas of who we are supposed to be.

And sometimes, we recognize the beauty of a connection only after the moment has passed.

A conversation.
A friendship.
A stranger’s kindness.
Someone who taught us something.
A soul who simply crossed our path.

Perhaps we were too caught in our thoughts to fully appreciate it at the time.

So be present.

Not every soul who crosses our path will stay forever — but may we be present enough to recognize the beauty, kindness and connection they bring while they are here. ✨

Nature never asks for our attention.
She simply waits for us to become present enough to notice.

And when we slow down… when we stop chasing the next moment and truly appreciate the one we’re standing in, nature seems to flaunt her beauty everywhere. ✨

Maybe the beauty was always there.
Maybe we finally arrived.

Be present. Be appreciative.
Mother Earth has been showing off all along.

Happy Birthday, Dad! ā¤ļø

Wishing you good health, happiness, and beautiful moments for eternity.

We are so blessed to have you in our lives. In fact, none of us would be here to witness this beautiful mystery called life—to love, to grow, to stumble, to laugh, and to watch each moment unfold—without your existence.

The older I get, the more I realize that life itself is the greatest gift, and you are part of the reason I was given that gift.

We are all just passing through this beautiful journey for a little while, so today I’m simply grateful that our paths began with you.

Here’s to more years, more memories, more laughter, and more moments together.

Happy Birthday, Dad. ā¤ļø

Thank you for giving us the chance to experience this beautiful thing called life. ✨

Heading to the Longmont Farmers Market šŸŒ±ā˜€ļø

There’s something beautiful about a farmers market—food grown from the earth, hands that worked to bring it here, familiar faces, conversations, laughter, and a community coming together.

The more I think about the future, the more I realize how simple the foundation really is.

šŸŒŽ Healthy soil.
šŸ’§ Clean water.
🌱 Good food.
ā¤ļø Healthy people.
šŸ¤ Connected communities.

Mother Earth has always been the provider for all of us. What we choose to grow, consume, support, and pass on today becomes the world our children inherit tomorrow.

Off to the market. See you there. 🌻

Jake Edmoundson’s original songs aren’t just music—they’re stories. Stories of life’s journeys, struggles, hope, and healing that find a way to reach the heart.

I’m grateful to have met Jake long before I ever had the chance to hear him perform. Watching him share his music reminds me that the most powerful songs come from lived experiences.

If you ever get the chance to hear him live, don’t miss it. Keep healing souls through your music, Jake.

And if you’re in Lyons, there’s no better place to experience that magic than The Rock Garden—our favorite spot for live music, great energy, a fun playground for the kids, delicious food trucks, and a community that makes every visit special.
Support local music. Support local businesses. And keep making memories. ā¤ļø
