Lots of quail chicks still here and ready to go to their new homes!

Quail chicks!

They just came out of the incubator tonight, and are all happy-go-lucky and doing well.

Starting on Friday, they'll be ready to go to their new homes. All of these chicks are a mix of celedon egg layers and speckled egg layers.

We had a little surprise on Sunday evening!

The coturnix quail chicks started hatching at day 16. These pictures are from this morning, and we have a full incubator and more are still hatching today, at day 18.

They'll come out of the incubator on Wednesday evening, and then get started on electrolytes, high protein food, and lots of love to get their little lives started off right!

Come Friday, they'll be ready to go to their new homes. In this batch, there are both celedon and speckled egg layers, so a great mix for a variety of egg colors!

Reach out if you'd like some coturnix quail to raise for friends, egg production, and/or meat!

Two more days until the quail chicks hatch!

You can find me staring at the incubator when they hatch, watching them run around and bounce like pieces of popcorn!

This morning's sun was perfect to capture a picture of our farm-fresh chicken eggs!

The girls (and Rudy, and a new handsome man rooster, Nugget! He's so sweet!!) are enjoying the sunshine and breeze before the thunderstorm comes later on today.

Stop on by to get yourself some delicious eggs and say hi before the rain hits!

We'll be at this show with our beef tallow moisturizer, beef tallow lip balm, repurposed feed bag tote bags, and our farm-fresh chicken, duck, and quail eggs!

Craft show will be here shortly!

We are excited to announce that members of the Atlantic Amish Church will be joining us again to provide food!!

Local Amish will have fresh donuts and chicken bbq at the event.

A little over a week until the coturnix quail chicks hatch! I love watching these baby popcorn balls hatch - it's the most adorable thing!

All of these coturnix quail chicks came from my flock, which has mostly celedon gene egg layers in it and a few speckled egg layers, so there's a good mix of each type of egg color layer in there.

If you are interested in some chicks, this is the time to reach out and get on my list for quail chicks! It is first come, first serve, and if there is enough interest, I will be hatching another batch once this one is out of the incubator.

✨️What to expect for the chicks:✨️

🔸️ They will be 5-7 days old when they can be picked up.

🔸️ I make sure that they are eating and drinking well and are all healthy before they go to their new homes. They're offered high-quality high protein food (30% protein) and electrolytes/vitamin water supplement and clean, fresh water to help jump-start them for their new life.

🔸️ They are straight run, which means unsexed. I do not know how many are going to hatch, and you are more than welcome to choose whichever ones your heart desires.
