Cracked this newbie….Wow!

Not sure how to describe the complexity of this…High proof but doesn’t drink like it, Dark Toffee, toasted oak, vibes of coffee, tannins come through in the finish (which is relatively long). I’ll need another pour when my palate is fresh. Either way, this is delicious. This is a The Wh***ey Library exclusive.

If I kill a bottle, I get to crack a new one. This Fiddler Antique, 8yr single barrel from ASW Distillery, barrel pick by The Wh***ey Library is FANTASTIC! Rich brown sugar, with a very light floral palette is followed by a long, proof centric warm spicy honey finish. Oh, and the food is Lamb chops, Lamb tenderloin and Lamb country sausage, with braaibroodjies (grilled cheese sandwiches with attitude) done on the Braai!

If I kill a bottle, I get to crack a new one. This Fiddler Antique, 8yr from ASW Distillery, barrel pick by The Wh***ey Library is FANTASTIC! Rich brown sugar, with a very light floral palette is followed by a long, proof centric warm spicy honey finish. Friday fresh crack

This Kings County Distillery Barrel Strength Empire Rye Straight Wh***ey is all about the Rye!! Nose is fresh cut hay, palate has a peaty caramel tone, with a long cereal brown sugar finish. A great pour if you’re a Rye fan.
