When we first started with chickens, we didn't know what to do with all the eggs we were getting, so finding recipes that used a lot of eggs became a fun and tasty challenge. Breakfast burritos are my go-to most mornings, but quiches and frittatas quickly became amazing treats!

Try this easy cabbage salad for a refreshing and easy lunch! Tracy from Hayashi farms shared this recipe with us and it's made lunches easy and delicious through out the week!

Finely chop 1 small head of cabbage, red onion, and some cilantro. Add to a large bowl and mix in some cooked and cooled petite peas. Portion out into a smaller lunch container and add ranch dressing. Delicious as is or with some extra toppings like chicken, rice, beans, or pitas!

We all got hit with a 24 hour stomach bug this past weekend. No fun for anyone, but thankfully it was short lived and everyone was feeling better after about a day. Once we were feeling better, brothy noodles and sourdough toast really helped us bounce back.
We hope that you don't catch anything, but it's always good to have some chicken stock or broth on hand just in case! Links to chicken stock and broth recipes in our email.

Check out our email for a cozy and nourishing soup recipe! Making soup from scratch is easy and worth it for your health and your wallet. We have simple recipes for chicken stock, soup, and bone broth, which can all be made in great amounts from just one or two whole chickens!
This soup has great flavor and is as easy as adding all the ingredients, let it come to a boil, and then simmer until the carrots are tender (about 25 minutes). Garnish and serve with bread :)

I grew up avoiding eggs at all costs, unless they were used to make french toast. I now eat eggs almost every morning!

They are packed with tons of nutrients your body needs and doesn't get a lot of from other foods today. Thankfully, we are fully stocked by our happy free range hens who enjoy soy-free, corn-free, non GMO feed with their plentiful greens.

No pranks, but possibly some jokes if you place an order this week. We spent the weekend processing some beautiful and healthy birds to nourish our family and yours!

We have plenty of chicken and eggs! Our hens have really started laying these past couple of weeks, so if you need chicken or duck eggs we have plenty! They are the best from hens who are truly pasture raised, corn-free, soy-free, non GMO.
