Our Tuscan style olive oils are fresh and flavorful, produced from Italian olive cultivars grown on our farm. We hand harvest, then cold press within hours, to produce the highest quality extra virgin olive oil. Visit us to sample our olive oil, tour our olive milling facility, and relax with spectacular views of olive orchards and the surrounding vineyards of California’s central coast.

Welcome to the oldest orchard on the farm, our Tuscan Orchard! 🫒✨

We’re already starting to see some beautiful olive blushing as the olives transition from green to purple heading into this year’s harvest season. 💜

A special bottling day 🫒

We’re excited to share the Mission Extra Virgin Olive Oil—a limited, non-estate-grown EVOO selected to showcase California’s historic Mission Olive variety.

Smooth and fresh, with notes of green grass and arugula, this versatile oil can be enjoyed in many of the same ways as our Coratina.

Available now in our tasting room and online!

Olive varieties are a lot like wine grapes—each one has its own personality. 🌿

Did you know that olive oil isn’t just olive oil? The variety of olive used has a huge impact on flavor, aroma, polyphenol content, and even how the trees grow. Just as a Cabernet tastes different from a Pinot Noir, each olive cultivar brings something unique to the bottle.

At Kiler Ridge, we grow seven Italian olive varieties. Four of them come together to create our Tuscan Extra Virgin Olive Oil, while the others are bottled as single-varietal oils to showcase their unique character.

🫒 Nocellara del Belice (Sicily)
Bottled on its own, Nocellara is delicate and balanced with notes of green banana, fresh herbs, and a gentle black pepper finish.

🌿 The Tuscan Blend (Frantoio, Leccino, Maurino & Pendolino)

🫒 Frantoio
The backbone of the blend, bringing robust grassy, herbaceous flavors with a peppery finish.

🫒 Leccino
Adds smoothness and balance with mild almond and fresh herb notes.

🫒 Maurino
Contributes bright, fresh herbaceous character and a lively peppery finish.

🫒 Pendolino
Softens the blend with delicate floral, buttery, and grassy notes.

🫒 Taggiasca (Liguria)
Bottled as a single varietal, Taggiasca is elegant and smooth with herbs, artichoke, sweet almond, and very little bitterness.

🫒 Coratina (Puglia)
Also bottled on its own, Coratina is one of Italy’s boldest varieties, packed with polyphenols and bursting with green grass, almond, and a signature peppery kick.

🌿 So why do olive varieties matter?
Every variety contributes something different—whether it’s bold pepperiness, buttery smoothness, vibrant fruitiness, or high levels of heart-healthy polyphenols. By growing multiple cultivars, we can showcase the unique personality of each olive while also crafting balanced, complex blends like our Tuscan EVOO.

Just like wine, the magic of olive oil begins in the orchard.
