While Shale Oak is open seven days a week, Tuesdays and Wednesdays are blocked for appointment only tastings -- for a more intimate tasting and one-on-one time with our experts. Sunrise at our Estate Vineyard as we pick out the bottom of our Grenache and Syrah blocks this morning. Harvest 2026 is quickly coming to an end in the vineyards but the w**emaking will continue for the next month or so as we finish crushing, fermenting and pressing off each lot and sending it to barrel to start the aging process.
