ARNEIS:
Famously grown in the Piedmont region in Italy, Arneis can be grown quite well in California, specifically Paso Robles. Our nickname for this delicious dry wine, The Little Rascal, is derived from the Piedmontese word Arneis. Aptly named because of it difficulty to grow and low yields, this varietal will typically be floral-scented with a full body. One sip and you’ll find generous flavors of pear, apricot and more. Enjoy our “Little Rascal” with most anything and raise a glass to this precocious grape that challenges every winemaker to tame this rascal.

If you've been to Paso more than once you've probably seen this sticky star thingee applied to various parts of people's bodies:
..arms
..breasts
..foreheads
..whatever they call that patch of skin beneath the bottom of one's Daisy Dukes 🍑

And by "people" we mean large groups of friends in town for the weekend swarming en masse from tasting room to tasting room.

Chances are the sweet 65 year-old lady that helps out-of-towners check into their rooms at the Courtyard by Marriot does not have an identical sticky star thingee slapped to her extreme upper hamstring, though if she does, more power to her!

Anyway, we found one this morning while cleaning up last night's debris at the Hayseed tasting garage.

Stuck to the ceiling - somehow.

If it happens to be yours, feel free to stop by the Hayseed tasting garage and claim it anytime after 12:00 noon today.
