John first built the estate home, and now has designed and built the winery tasting room and private Comus Center. The Denner Winery is built to contour into an existin

g hillside with the vineyard. It is also one of a very few gravity-flow wineries in California. Gravity-flow helps to produce hand-made, artisanal wines that are stylized vinous portraits of the unique terroir from specific parts of Denner's hilly estate vineyard.

Meet Emily Seide - Denner Cheesemonger.

If you’ve been eyeing our wine and cheese pairing experience, Emily is the reason.

Emily is a Certified Cheese Professional through the American Cheese Society and the talent behind one of our favorite experiences in the tasting room.

With over twenty-five years of hospitality experience, she honed her expertise at Danny Meyer's The Modern in New York City, overseeing 20+ artisanal cheeses, then served as head Fromagère at Casellula - New York City's first and most famous cheese bar - where she maintained up to 60 cheeses, many sourced directly from farmers and makers she knew personally.

Emily brings that world-class expertise to the Denner tasting room, where her elevated wine and cheese pairings are an experience not to be missed.

Paso Wine Fest - What a fantastic day.

Huge thanks to everyone who stopped by to share a glass with us this weekend. Between the oysters, the sunshine, the incredible food, and all the familiar faces, this one felt pretty special.

A big thank you to for keeping the Pacific Gold oysters flowing alongside our 2024 Theresa all day long — and to Chef Aaron Meneghelli for bringing so much creativity, flavor and fun to the weekend.

This is why we love Paso.

And to our Paso community - thank you for showing up, sharing the weekend with us, and continuing to make this place so special. The people, energy, and spirit of Paso are what make weekends like this unforgettable

What a day at Paso Wine Fest!

A huge thank you to everyone who stopped by to sip with us, share a glass, and spend Saturday with us at the Grand Tasting.

A special shoutout to for the Pacific Gold oysters paired with our 2024 Theresa. A perfect match and one of our favorite moments of the day. Great wine, oysters, Paso sunshine, and a lot of familiar faces. Hard to beat that.

Coming up this weekend at Paso Wine Fest with Denner:

Paired Paso on Friday featuring Chef Aaron Meneghelli pairing one of his signature creations with our 2023 Cirrus.

Grand Tasting on Saturday including fresh Morro Bay oysters paired with our 2024 Theresa.

On Saturday, our first 100 guests to visit the Denner booth at Paso Wine Fest will receive a complimentary Denner water bottle.

A quick heads up:
Our tasting room will be closed this weekend while we’re out celebrating Paso Wine Fest. We will be open on Sunday 10-4:30pm

Paso Wine Fest weekend is almost here and honestly, there’s no better time to be in Paso.

Great wine, incredible food, and the best kind of Paso energy all weekend long.

• Paired Paso on Friday with Chef Aaron Meneghelli pairing our 2023 Cirrus with one of his signature creations
• The Grand Tasting at the Paso Robles Event Center Friday + Saturday — we’ll be pouring in the Frontier area

Our tasting room will be closed May 15–16 while we join the festivities, then reopening Sunday the 17th.
