Well we did it again!! We did 3 markets, a craft fair, and the farm stand this week! We so appreciate all of you that support us every day, every week, and every year! It means a lot to us and to the goats!!!

Poor John has had a rough week!!! Getting stuck in the hay feeder because of his scurs (which will be taken care of by the vet). And now getting stung by something! At first we thought another goat smashed his eye socket. We examined it closer and it appears he got stung. Thank gawd that's all that happened. The swelling went down within two days!!! Phew!! And I thought animals were suppose to lower your blood pressure!!

Big day tomorrow! It's Maine Open Creamery Day! We will be in our field on the corner of Allen & Fickett in Pownal tomorrow Sunday June 14th from 10 to 12! We will have a taste testing under the tents! And the goats will be close by! We might also have a neighboring donkey come by! PLEASE NO DOGS! The goats are afraid of them!

Sonny and SuzieQ are siblings and John is their cousin! Saanens are way more relaxed and generally don't fight with one another. Alpines on the other hand are mean and temperamental!
