🐰🎡 WELP… Ohio State Fair is officially DONE! 🎡🐰
What a WEEK! We packed a whole lot of rabbits, showing, competition, laughs, and fair food into one very busy week—and let’s just say… we are TIRED! 😂
Jeremiah and Jaden both showed in the Junior Rabbit Show, and they had a fantastic week! They brought home several 1st and 2nd place finishes with their Holland Lops. 🏆🐰
One of the BIG highlights was Jeremiah placing 15th out of 105 participants in the Single Fryer competition! He brought home a medal AND $50! 🎉👏 That was quite an accomplishment with that many entries!
And then there was the Rabbit Costume Contest! 🐰🏀 Jeremiah and Coal stole the show with their basketball-themed costume. Coal was dressed up as a basketball while Jeremiah dressed as the basketball player—and apparently the crowd agreed because they won Crowd Favorite! 🏀🐰❤️
Both boys also participated in Showmanship. They didn’t place this time, but that’s what these shows are all about—getting experience, learning, gaining confidence, and having fun. We’re proud of them for getting out there and giving it their best!
During the Open Rabbit Show, Emmi, Briar, Jeremiah, and Jaden all had a great showing, bringing home several 1st–5th place finishes in their respective classes. We had quite the variety representing Anderson Rabbitry, including Flemish Giants, Mini Rexes, Californians, and Holland Lops! 🐰🏆
And when we weren’t busy showing rabbits, we made sure to take advantage of everything the Ohio State Fair had to offer! 🎢🍦🎡 From the exhibits and animals to the food and festivities, there was always something going on.
It was a LONG, BUSY, EXCITING week, and we made some great memories along the way.
Now… someone please tell our feet that the fair is over. 😂😂
