Apple Tree Farm - WI Apple Tree Farm offers sweet corn, apples and garden goodies, located just south of River Falls, WI. Continuing a River Falls tradition!

In 2022, after 20+ years, the king and queen of Conklin Family Orchard retired to beautiful northern Minnesota and passed on their famous sweet corn and apple business to us, the Pata family. We are honored and so grateful for the opportunity! With the help of our two sons (ages 6 and 2), we picked "Apple Tree Farm" as the new name for the Conklin orchard. Customers can look forward to the same lo

cally grown, freshly picked produce that's been serving the River Falls community for decades! The self-serve farm stand will be stocked as often as possible (typically August-October) with what's ready for picking--we'll do the work, and you can enjoy the harvest! I make several kinds of jams and jellies when I have time. My favorites are always sweet and sour combos: wild grape, high bush cranberry, rhubarb pineapple, seedless raspberry.

Join River Falls American Legion Post 121 on Monday, May 25, as we honor and remember the men and women who gave their lives in service to our country.

📍 Cemetery Honors & Taps Schedule:

• Cherma – 8:20 a.m.
• St. Bridget’s – 8:45 a.m.

🎖 Full Memorial Day Program
📍 Veterans Memorial at Greenwood Cemetery, East Division St., River Falls
🕙 Begins at 10:00 a.m.

The ceremony will include the Post Honor Guard, music, and tributes to our fallen veterans.

🍽 Following the ceremony, the public is invited to lunch at American Legion Post 121, 701 N. Main St., courtesy of the Post 121 Auxiliary.

Agatha Christie is a plant with a lot to give! A beautiful 40+ year old rhubarb plant. Come harvest some gorgeous stalks for your early summer culinary adventures.

🌄 Enjoy a beautiful quiet, private country farm setting.. your own personal serene rhubarb pulling paradise!

Price is $3/pound. No spray and organic growing practices. 👍

You are welcome to trim the leaves (we will compost them). All ages welcome! Need help? We will teach you. Just want us to do the harvest and you pick up? We can do that too.👍

Back in October 2023, the kids found themselves among giants at the Stillwater Harvest Fest. 🎃 Giant pumpkins, a giant pumpkin drop…and the biggest watermelon we had ever seen. 👀

One of the growers was slicing it up for samples (YUM 🍉) and gave the boys a few seeds to take home.

Well… we found those seeds this spring, and these “magic beans” are officially getting planted. 🌱✨

We’re not growing a beanstalk to the clouds, but if all goes well, maybe a giant watermelon patch is in our future. Jack found his giant… now it’s our turn to see what grows!🤞🍉
