Took a walk up the hill this morning to find the girls ❤️
At almost 34 weeks pregnant, the walk up the side of the valley is becoming increasingly difficult 😅 however as I was just about to the clearing and started talking so Mona knew I was coming, all my girls came right to me.
This pregnancy and looking after the older kiddos has meant that by 8 pm I’m exhausted and Ryley usually heads out to do chores alone. I love that even though I’ve been more absent than normal, these sheep still know exactly who I am. Looking at them, I see more orange tags than not. I was there for the majority of their births… it’s an amazing sense of gratification seeing the results of our hard work in the flock that we are building.
After getting the kids to daycare, instead of rushing to do the 1000 things on my to-do list, I decided to do a sheep check instead, and I’m so glad I did. Sometimes I forget that this is what it’s all about… slowing down to enjoy the things we work so hard for ❤️
